Norene Gonsiewski, MSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and
the owner of Portland Relationship Center. Norene has been working
with individuals, couples, families and groups for over two decades. Norene’s approach
is one of directness and nurturing support. She is skilled at treating depression,
anxiety and relationship problems by supporting clients to examine their beliefs,
emotions, and past experiences that govern their current outlook and behavior. Norene
is a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist and is a dynamic and insightful group
and workshop leader.

families and community.Our center is based on Imago Relationship Therapy created
by Dr. Harville Hendrix, Phd. This revolutionary view of the commited love relationship

Our associates Stephanie SaintCyr MSW CADCII, John Wolfe, MSW and Lisa Walcott,
MSW all provide a sliding scale of reduced-fee slots. There are evening hours available
with each of our therapists.
Norene and Nancy's services usually qualify for reimbursement from health insurance
companies. The amount of reimbursement and number of sessions available differs
with each plan, and we can help you determine what your company provides.

Tim Higdon, MS, LPC, joins Portland Relationship Center from Bend,
Oregon where he has been a certified Imago Relationship therapist and advance Imago
Clinician for 13 years. Tim is an Imago Workshop Presenter and has worked with individuals,
couples, families and the central Oregon community since 1980. He has extensive
training in family systems therapy and is a Love and Logic Educator. Tim’s expertise
is helping people build satisfying and lasting long term relationships. Tim focuses
on restoring connections ruptured by conflict and stress. Tim’s background in family
services gives him unique skills in working with parents and blended families. Tim
joins Portland Relationship Center to provide Intensives for Couples, couple and
family sessions, Imago groups, Conscious Parenting Workshops and professional trainings
and supervision. Along with Norene, Tim presents the Harville Hendrix workshop,
Getting the Love You Want. Tim will be offering a couple’s group beginning in the
fall of 2007.

Nancy Irey Holmes, PsyD is a certified Imago Therapist. Nancy’s
approach to Imago and to all of her work with clients is holistic in its integration
of body, mind and spirit. She has a strong background in helping her clients to
self-sooth during times of upheaval and stress and has worked extensively with illness
and health related issues. Nancy’s expertise makes her a perfect match for couples
who are facing difficult issues with aging, poor health or other life related stresses.

Catherine M. Melo, MSW, LCSW is a Clinical Social Worker with a
wealth of experience. She has been a student of Imago Relationship Therapy for over
10 years. She is an Advanced Clinician in Imago Relationship Therapy (IRT) and Certified
Workshop Presenter. She is dedicated to working with individuals and couples because
she has seen how this simple yet profound approach can transform both the individual
and the relationship. She is passionate about this work because of her own personal
experience with Imago Relationship Therapy in her relationship with her husband,
John. Together with John, Catherine presents the Getting the Love You Want Workshop.
In addition to Imago couples work, Catherine specializes in trauma and grief and
offers EMDR sessions. Whether working individuals or couples, Catherine is known
for her warmth, candor, humor, passion and energy. She connects with her clients
with empathy and insight, meeting them wherever they are in their journey..

Stephanie SaintCyr, MSW, CADC-II, has been working as a therapist
since 1991. Stephanie has a rich variety of training and experiences that she brings
to her practice. Her work with women, men, couples and groups includes: Imago Relationship
Therapy, PAIRS™ Relationship Therapy, wilderness retreats, deep process work and
recovery modalities. In her years of work with Adult Children of Alcoholics, she
has developed a keen eye for the issues that stem form such childhood experiences.
She is expert at helping her clients trace current day problems that they are experiencing
to their childhood roots and assisting them to resolve these patterns. She has a
Master's Degree in Social Work from Portland State University and is a chemical
dependency therapist. She supports adults in their recovery journey as well as those
with trauma and life-transitions.
Stephanie is passionate about therapy as a path to healing for both individuals
and couples. She is known for her warmth and authenticity in her work with her clients.
She truly enjoys and feels honored by the ability to work with people in their healing
process and values the humor and courage of her clients.

Lisa Walcott, MSW works with adults, adolescents and children.
Lisa is an expert on school success and self-esteem, working with children 6-18
develop coping skills, build self-esteem and maintain appropriate behavior in the
school setting. Since 2000 Lisa has worked with children and adolescents in both
residential and school settings as a counselor and a violence prevention/school
retention specialist. She also serves families as a parenting coach as well as helping
parents return to their own lives their children leave home. Lisa enjoys helping
clients with life transition issues, depression and anxiety, behavioral goals and
building the life they desire. Lisa has a Master's Degree in Social Work from Portland
State University.

John Wolfe, MSW brings a fresh approach to treating couples, men
and adolescents, including a Men’s Group. John has spent over 25 years working with
youth and families in Oregon. Focusing upon helping families heal from emotional,
social and cultural challenges, John uses Imago Relationship Therapy and narrative
and family systems therapy to support couples and individuals heal, grow and develop
inner strength. John is a certified Imago Relationship counselor
